HOLLYWOOD, Jul 20 – Danny Kaye will set a standard for our stars which will be difficult to follow. Danny, who came to my house to tell me about his English trip, says he’ll make 17 appearances in various cities throughout America—all free—for his picture, “Happy Times.” “The studio’s invested a lot of money in this one,” says he, “and each and every one of us must help in these times to put our pictures over.” Danny’s now doing two added numbers and a couple of new scenes.
