Danny and owner Harry Gipriani got into an argument about cooking, as Kaye always
does when he travels. He challenged Harry to a noodle-
Danny said the secret is to use more eggs than Harry.
It’s the first time Danny has talked to me about cooking since I ordered chow mein in one of Hong Kong’s top restaurants. “They should have thrown it in your face,” said Danny, who sometimes can be blunt.
