Danny smiled at this modest statement, for he knew that it was Sylvia who suggested
the changes, insisted on hours of rehearsal, and came out of their work more exhausted
than he. It was Sylvia who prodded him into the immense passion for perfection which
in turn made him demand more and more from her. It was a successful union and blending
of abilities.
